Nearshore Fishing Charters (Half-Day, Protected Water)
A nearshore trip is a private half-day charter on protected water: the St. Marys jetties, the Fort Clinch State Park jetty, Cumberland Sound, and the inshore flats and creeks of Northeast Florida. It is the most-booked trip on the menu and the one Captain Scott points first-timers toward. Target species are redfish, spotted seatrout, flounder, sheepshead, and black drum year-round, plus tarpon at the Fort Clinch jetty from May through August.

Offshore Fishing Charters (The Ledge and the Wrecks)
The offshore trip is the step up from nearshore. It runs out to the Atlantic Ledge and the nearshore wrecks, roughly 20 to 40 miles off Amelia Island. This is bottom-fishing and trolling water for grouper, amberjack, triggerfish, king mackerel, and red snapper when the federal season is open. Captain Scott has fished this water for decades and is a Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament winner on the same grounds.
Best for: experienced anglers, groups that want bigger fish and serious bottom action, and anyone hoping to fill a cooler with grouper and snapper.

The deep sea trip is the longest day on the menu. It runs to the Gulf Stream for mahi-mahi, wahoo, tuna, sailfish, and blue marlin, with trolling spreads on the way out and bottom drops on deep structure on the way home. This is a full-commitment trip and a once-a-year experience for most groups. The longest version leaves before dawn so you can reach blue water and get back inside daylight.
