Hello Anglers,

Well, our Amelia Island Charter Fishing trips just dodged the big one as Hurricane Florence went past northeast Florida and visited our friends in North Carolina leaving us with calm seas and hungry fish.

Our award-winning charter boat, Pipe Dream III, had an excellent 2018 fishing season!

Excellent Offshore and Inshore Fishing Charter Season

Couple on Boat Holding an Amelia Island Offshore Charter Fishing Bull Red FishBeginning in February, the Deep Sea Trolling for Wahoo and Tuna was on fire and the Blue Water Fishing bite continued through late May with plenty of Mahi fish.

Closer to shore, the bottom fishing produced some excellent Cobia, Vermillion Snapper, Grouper and a variety of other bottom fish species.

The South Atlantic Fish Management Council (SAFMC) along with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) approved a Red Snapper mini-season in mid-August and Pipe Dream Charters was immediately booked for all 6 days of Red Snapper fishing fun.

The anglers had no problem limiting out on each trip with Red Snapper weighing 10 to 25 lbs.

The Fernandina Beach area water temperature has not yet cooled and the Tarpon are still hanging around the jetties with some big Silver Kings being caught.

When the sea temperatures start to come down the big Bull Reds will be near shore for some excellent fishing and rod bending action.

Awesome Fall Outlook for Amelia Island Offshore Fishing
